Texas State Men’s Lacrosse will host the 3rd Annual Alumni Weekend on November 7-8, 2009.

Texas State Men’s Lacrosse will host the 3rd Annual Alumni Weekend on November 7-8, 2009. Events for the weekend include a golf fundraiser on Saturday at Quail Creek, with Sunday hosting the always exciting Alumni Vs. Bobcats lacrosse game. The Bobcats are 2-1 on the series but will battle it out with the ever improving Alumni team. This weekend provides a great opportunity for Bobcat Lacrosse alums and fans to reconnect and help support the men’s lacrosse program.
The Texas State Men’s Lacrosse Alumni are invested in the program at all levels. Many of the alums have remained close friends over the years providing a great network of support for current players. They are involved in all facets of the program, from working with the players, to collaborating with parents with organizing team events. Texas State Alumni pride themselves on their continuous support of the team. Through fundraising, mentoring, and even coaching, the Texas State Alumni strive to raise the level of awareness about the game of lacrosse around the university and across the state.

Lifetime Member Spotlight - Wes Agnew '84

 Wes Agnew '84 is a lifetime member of the Texas State Alumni Association.
Wes has stayed involved with the Alumni Association since he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984.
Wes attends many of the chapter events hosted by the Alumni Association and always donates toward scholarships when he comes.
A lifetime membership with the Texas State Alumni Association allows alumni the chance to stay connected for a lifetime. The lifetime membership goes toward a scholarship endowment. It helps the association each year give over $100,000 in scholarships.

 Everyone wants a piece of March Madness and Texas State is no exception. As Bobcat Basketball moves forward, the goal is to consistently qualify for the men’s and women’s NCAA Division I basketball tournaments. The best way for you to get involved and help make this goal become a reality is to purchase season tickets, help stuff Strahan Coliseum and give Texas State home court advantage!
There is a lot to be excited about for the upcoming 2009-2010 seasons as there will be noticeable changes within Strahan Coliseum. Home and visitor benches are being moved to accommodate new student seating. This will create an exciting atmosphere, while still providing loyal Bobcat fans the opportunity to sit behind team benches.
